I know what I did this summer?
Why does it seem that the summer just blows by?
Where did June go, Where did July go? I remember starting the Tour with Rob Zombie, and then it was over. Can we get Bill Gates to stop the world from spinning so fast; can't money buy a machine like that? The older I get, the faster it all seems... know what I mean?

I went to see the Foo Fighters the other night; they’re doing this special Acoustic performance. I have been a Foo Foo Fan for years and always felt that their first 2 records are so influential, they Rock!
I didn't know what to expect? Dave said that the show "rocks" but it doesn't "rock", huh, wha?
I watched and was in total awe at what I saw. This wasn't just an acoustic set, it was a well thought out performance. They took the arrangements and did so much more with them. I think the rendition of "Floaty" was beautiful. One of my fave Foo songs is "February Stars", I don't know why, it just is. So I asked Dave a few weeks ago if they were going to do it and he said "YES". Finally, I get to hear this tune live. So I show up to the show and go down to the dressing rooms to say hello and all that. I walk in and see Taylor first and we start bullshitting about this and that and at some point I say "so you're doing Feb Stars", Taylor says "nah, we're not doing it tonight" - WHAT!!!
BBBBut DAVE SAID!!! , at this point Dave comes in and I say "so no FEB STARS"? He kinda looks at me and goes "okay, we're putting it back in" Wooo Hoooooooo. Walkie-talkie's go off “they’re doing February Stars, repeat, they're doing February Stars”, ‘cause Charlie wants to hear it! I felt so honored! I thought it was one of the best songs of the night; well of course I did, c'mon!!!!
Dave Grohl is a fucking class act and a funny motherfucker. Just think about what he's achieved, Nirvana! Hello! Changed the face of music, ever hear of them? Then to go and form your own thing and have it Blow up like it has, damn!!! Should we mention his drumming? Most of these drummers today have ripped off his style but they can't do it HALF as well as he does it, he and his Foo's rocked.
I have no other news to report.
