04.22.06 | There has been some bullshit floating around about the Göteborg show (see below) saying that the band just took off and left everyone hanging. That is totally false.
Yes, it took 45 minutes to make the call on canceling the show as we were trying everything humanly possible to fix the problem and let the show go on. The band even went to the barricade and signed autographs for everyone to make the best of a bad situation. Its not a show, but we did all we could. We'll be back (with a Fusion reactor) and make it up to all our Swedish fans.

04.19.06 | We regret to inform that tonight's gig at Tagern in Gothenburg, Sweden has been cancelled due to insufficient power at the venue. Scott adds "We are gutted. This has never happened to us ever. We tried everything to make it work but the power problem was impossible to fix. We haven't played here since 1990 and we were so looking forward to raging with our Göteborg friends. I promise we will be back!!!"

I'm just waking up from last night's insanity in London. The show was the best yet. Best Astoria show ever and dare I say the best show of the tour so far. You always hear how cities like London, NY, LA are always jaded because they get a million shows etc. That's never been the case for us. All of those cities have constantly been amazing and London especially has been a high point. The energy last night was over the top. There was never a lull. I felt myself going for it at a level beyond my normal physical capabilities. I couldn't help myself, the crowd was that good. The UK has been there for us since the beginning. We broke here before anywhere else and the strength and loyalty of our audience here is a testament to the big hearted nature of the British that I love. I got to meet so many CDC members the last few days all wearing their color's proudly. It's nice to put a face to the names I chat with. Last night I met bigbossway and his bride to be and they are using Safe Home as their wedding song!!! I'll be sad to leave the UK on Thursday. Nottingham tonight and then we'll see you on the next record.

Its 7 AM and I'm still basking in the Glasgow afterglow. What a way to kick this off!!! There's never a let down in Scotland, it only gets better and better. Thank you for making the first night so amazing. Skeletons was sick and the pit in Indians was the biggest yet!! I can only hope this is an omen for the next 3 weeks. Most of the shows have already sold out so I expect this to be a great tour. This is the last time we will be touring for a long time so don't miss it (I am talking to you Nottingham, Hamburg and Copenhagen - last chance!) I'm going to try and get some sleep.

Hello all, how the hell are you? I'm getting ready to leave for Europe. 2 days in NYC before the trip. I can't wait for these shows. I hope they go as well or even better than the January U.S. run. C'mon Europe, the gauntlet has been thrown. Step up and represent for metal! For Anthrax!! Come on out and have fun.
I'll be running a diary in my CDC blog from the tour and there will be Podcasts coming too. I think the first "Thrax-cast" Podcast will be up in the CDC tomorrow.
